Communications Policy
Rules and consent standards for email, telephone, forms, social media, and other communications from BrianTort.com.
1. Service communications
When you submit an inquiry, we may contact you to acknowledge it, request non-sensitive clarification, route the matter, schedule a conversation, or provide the resource you requested.
2. Marketing communications
Promotional email or text messages are sent only as permitted by law and the consent or other lawful basis applicable to that communication. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchasing a service.
3. Email choices
Commercial emails should identify the sender and include a working unsubscribe method. Opt-out requests will be honored within the time required by law, although essential transactional or service communications may continue.
4. Telephone and voicemail
By providing a telephone number and requesting contact, you authorize a response concerning your inquiry. Automated or marketing calls require any additional consent required by law.
5. Social media
Public comments and direct messages are not secure channels for confidential information. Social platforms have their own terms and privacy practices. Official profiles are listed on the Connect page.
6. Purchased or referred leads
Outreach based on a lawful referral or acquired business lead must accurately identify the sender, avoid deceptive claims, respect opt-out requests, and follow applicable email, telephone, and text-message rules.
7. Recordkeeping
Communications may be retained for service quality, legal compliance, consent records, dispute resolution, security, and business operations.
